Fusible Links
Description
What is a Fusible Link?
A fusible link is a bi-metal, heat activated device used to hold damper blades in the open position. These fusible links are comprised of two materials: two pieces of brass held together by and a heat sensitive solder (a fusible alloy).
Fusible Links are supplied in long, short, or no hook according to the respective damper application and are available in activation temperatures of 165°F (100°F ambient) and 212°F (150°F ambient) in packages of 10 pieces or cartons of 100 pieces.
